All black and speckle cows bred to Black Angus Bulls. Tan cows and small red cows are bred to Y Coulee Red Angus bulls. All of the large framed cows and Simmental cows are bred to a Westrow Simmental Bull.
All bulls turned out June 8th.
Cows are on a full herd health program: Yearly Ivomec, Blackleg every spring
Feed program: Alfalfa/ brome hay and free choice 1:1 and 3:1 mineral.

120 RWF 2nd-4th calf Simmental cows bred back Fullblood Simmental for March 1 calving.
80 RWF Simmental heifers bred to Black Angus bulls for March 1 calving start
Full herd health and has had first round of Scour Guard

30 red and RWF cows. 2nd calvers – mature cows. Cows were exposed to Simmental bulls from April 20 – July 15, and then exposed to Charolais bulls at community pasture from May 29 – Aug 9.
Cows received Bovi-Shield FP5, Ultrabac 7/Somubac and ivermectin.

8 Bred heifers bred to Black Angus bull from Davidson Angus. Exposed for 60 days from June 15 – Aug 15
Had Bovi-Gold and Vision 8 w/ Somnus in the spring of 2024

Complete herd dispersal of 20 Speckle Park cows. 82lb bw Speckle Park bulls turned out July 1st. Cows are up-to-date on blackleg and Ivomec
