1042hd of cattle traded hands here in Vermilion, today. The cow trade was fully steady with top feeder cows trading $260/cwt. The slaughter ready cows traded up to $243/cwt. The bull trade was stronger with the market tapping out at $317/cwt.
The calf trade was fully steady as well. Following a great week on the futures board, the grass weight cattle showed $3-5 strength when compared to last week.
