HEDGE HAVEN
200 Bred Heifers AI (June 23-25) and live bred to Black Angus bulls for April calving start. Bulls pulled August 1st. 61hd were exposed to bull July 4-August 10. Fully vaccinated.
MCNARY RANCHING
80 Red heifers bred to Bellshill Red Angus bulls. Bulls turned out on June 20th with a 60-day exposure. Heifers were fully vaccinated prior to breeding.
DELMAR DEGENHARDT
100 bred heifers. Exposed to Black Angus bulls May 30th for 65 days. Received 8-Way w/ Somnus and Express 5 pre-breeding.
MTC CATTLE CO
50 home-raised black bred heifers. Bred to Capitalist 316 ET sons – bulls turned out July 20th for 45 days. Received BoviGold and Ultra 7 at branding and weaning – SafeGuard and Cattlemaster at preg testing. On corn silage, DDG, chopped alfalfa and free choice mineral.
LEANING ARROW RANCH
53 bred cows (12 black, 21 red, 20 tan). Black are out of some older Simmental cows that were purchased and resold the following year.
Leaning Arrow bases their their breeding program on fertility, consistency, and longevity. Their intent is to produce good quality, low maintenance cattle that bring in a good calf every year.
