70 cow/calf pairs – 35 reds, 8 tans, 8 BBF, 19 Simmental – 8 1st & 2nd calvers, 20 3rd & 4th calvers, 15 4th & 5th calvers, 27 mature cows.
Cows receive vitamin A & Ivomec twice a year, as well as blackleg and Bovishield once a year. Calves have received blackleg, Bovishield, vitamin A and all bull calves have been banded and are clean, except for 6 of them.
Cows started calving January 20th, most of the calves are February born. Calves are Red Angus and red Simmental sired – bulls purchased from Spring Creek and Little D.
