We saw a very nice offering of cattle here in Vermilion, today. The feeder market continued to prove itself in strong demand with all classes selling fully steady to slightly stronger. Some features of the presort are as follows:
- A one-owner pen of Charolais steers weighing 708lbs @ $469/cwt.
- A one-owner pen of Black Angus steers weighing 800lbs @ $415.75/cwt.
- A pen of exotic heifers weighing 643lbs @ $485/cwt.

The slaughter type cows traded $3-5 higher when compared to last week, while the feeder cows and cull bulls traded fully steady, with the top bull selling @ $2.70/lb.
