| Comments | This week we had a decent run of yearlings off of grass and they sold very strong. Some 775lb steers brought 3.44/lb as well as some 927lb black steers brought 3.23/lb. On the heifer side of things, some 793lb heifers brought 3.06/lb and some 932lb heifers brought 2.85/lb. The cows and bulls sold very similar, lots of cows from 1.40-1.50. The bulls were maybe a couple bucks softer, but still lots of bulls from 1.60-1.70. Next sale is Wednesday, August 30th. |
