Today we had a small run of feeder cattle and cows for our first sale back. The feeder cattle all traded $15-20 higher than where we left off before Christmas. The cattle feeders appear to have some open pens and are motivated by cheap grain and an active fat market to fill them.

The cows and bulls traded $5-8 high with most of the gain seen on the feeding type cows.
