We had 922hd of cattle on trade in Vermilion, today. Slaughter type cows held fully steady to last week's pricings, while the feeder cows traded steady to $2/cwt higher in places. The bull trade showed strength with top bulls trading @ $300/cwt for slaughter. The feeder cattle were fully steady for the most part but showed a little bit of weakness on some grass type cattle; after following a down week on the futures board.

We also sold 70hd of bred cows out of a complete dispersal. The top end of the cows traded $5950 with lots of good cows trading $5650-5800.

We will have 25 young bred cows to sell following next week's presort sale, as well as some Simmental breeding bulls from Rondeau Ranch.

Be sure to join us on Monday, March 23rd for the Stockman's Trilogy Bull Sale featuring a great lineup of Red Angus, Charolais, and Black Angus bulls with 100 home-raised palpated replacement heifers to follow!

Thank you for another great week!
