Yesterday we saw feeder cattle trade very strong again. All classes of calves sold steady to stronger, some 600 weight steers are extremely close to $4.00/lb. The yearlings sold fully steady with last week.

The cows and bulls were pushed lower again this week. Unfortunately, as more cows come on the market and the BBQ season moves further behind us, the lower trend will likely continue.

We are expecting a nice run of calves for next week. Be sure to call the office to book your cattle in.
