1583hd of cattle traded hands here, today. The feeder cow and slaughter cow trade were both fully steady while the bull trade faced pressure today trading $5-8 lower.

It was on all-out knife fight today over the presorted cattle. Much of the steer trade was up $10-15 while many of the heifers also showed strength of $5-8. Some highlights of the presort are as follows:
15 TAN steers - 842lbs $536/cwt or $4513/hd
12 BLEX steers - 741lbs $605/cwt or $4485/hd
14 BLEX steers - 659lbs $658/cwt or $4336/hd
22 TAN heifers - 702lbs $570/cwt or $4001/hd
12 TAN heifers - 624lbs $620/cwt or $3869/hd
47 BLK heifers - 798lbs $510/cwt or $4070/hd
