Comments

Today we had a large run of feeder cattle as well as cows and bulls. The steer calves were just steady. Some 603lb steers bought $605.00, as well some 640lb steers were at $574.00. Light steers continue to be very strong. Some 376lb steers brought $877.00.
The light heifers sold steady to $5 lower in some spots and heavier heifers over 600lbs appeared to be $5-8 lower.

The number one cattle are holding very steady through record breaking auction volumes in the past 3 weeks, but we are seeing some pressure one the second and third cut cattle.

Cows and bulls sold fully steady. Fat cows brought $190-205, feeding cows were brought $215-230, for the most part. Heiferettes and young cows brought from $235 to $290.

Have a great rest of your week!
