Today's sale featured some very good quality calves on both the heifer and steer side. Although the market certainly feels like it is under pressure right now, these calves are still bringing in a lot of dollars. Today the steers sold $6-8 lower and the most pressure was seen on the 500-600lb category. The heifers sold basically a dime tougher with the exception of number one 450lb heifers -they seemed to have held their own pretty good today.
The cows and bulls sold fully steady today.
