| Comments | Today we had a nice offering of cattle for our last presort sale of the year. The steer calves sold basically steady on the number 1 cattle. We had more heavy steers than light ones, but the really light steers under 450lb sold a little softer. The heavy steers sold very strong with one group of tan steers at 742lb fetching $338/cwt. On the heifer side the light heifers sold steady to $5 stronger and the heavy heifers were just steady. The cows and bulls traded steady, good cows from $120-127/cwt. Bulls from $140-165/cwt. Our very last sale of the year is on Monday! We have bred cows selling at noon and cull cows and bulls to follow. |
