Today we had a small run of feeder cattle to start the year off. The cattle all traded into a very active market, at similar levels to when we left off in 2023. The full presort list is attached - check it out for detailed pricing on the different classes.

The cows and bulls traded mixed, the younger cows with some condition sold fully steady to stronger, the straight utility type slaughter cows sold 3-5$ lower. The two major packers seem more interested in killing fat cattle over cows at the moment.
