This week we had a very nice showing of cattle, with 2393hd passing through the ring. In the presort we saw the lighter heifers (under 700lbs) trade $3-5 higher, and the heavier side of the heifers traded steady to $3 higher.

On the steer side, the lighter weight cattle (500-650lbs) traded $5-10 higher, and the heavy steers traded $2-5 higher. A feature of the presort would be a one-owner group of tan steers weighing 841 bringing $3.44/lb.

The cow and bull market also showed continued strength while trading, once again, $3-5 stronger.
