Another nice run of feeder cattle this week. With big numbers all around, the market was stronger once again, all across the board.

The heavy calves over 600lbs generally traded steady to $2 higher. The light calves under 600lb were $6-9 stronger, with some classes at as much as $12 stronger. It appears that the cattle feeding industry was generally pleased with the results from the from U.S. Election and are pushing for inventory.

The cows and bulls traded $3-5 stronger this week, most likely caused by the good quality of cull cows.
