She gets cinchy when she’s had time off otherwise she is good. Great to catch, lead, tie, load, and handle on the ground.

Five-year-old Paint pony gelding stands 10.3 hands. He’s your true kids pony you can rope things off him, trail ride him, shoot cap guns, he’s been on trail rides with big horses, lives with big horses, never foundered, walk out and catch him in the pasture – the ultimate kid’s pony.

AMY

21 year old grade mare

Don’t let her age fool you, this mare still has a huge heart. Amy is the first one to be caught and the kind you can count on to show up, and never leave you wondering what kind of day you are going to have. She is dependable and forgiving and suitable for an experienced kid looking for a step up horse, someone looking to go on trail rides or just ride occasionally, learning to rope or use as an extra horse on the ranch. She was purchased six years ago and hasn’t let us down but we have all outgrown her and she has become a hay burner. She has been used at brandings, chasing cows, trail riding, tracked the heelomatic, and as a leisure horse to entertain company. She has an old injury from 4 years ago that has healed up and left white hair growth behind. Other than that she has been an easy keeper. She enjoys having someone to work for. She is reliable and has never offered to buck, bolt or rear, she will go through anything, nothing seems to spook her. She stands good for the farrier and loads well. She is your typical mare and buddies up to others fast and can get a bit hot when you ride away.

SPIRIT

8 year old flashy sorrel mare stands 11 hands, real nice riding pony real broke pony, good stop, walk, trot, lope, sound, never foundered. she is hard to catch in an open field, she’s great to catch in a paddock.

JASPER

3 year-old grade green broke filly. She’s a big pet, first to meet you at the gate, she rides out in open, been on few trail rides, not herd bound at all. Walk, trot, lope, no vices, wants to please, good stop, going make a real nice horse. Great with farrier, trailering, up to date on worming & 4 way.

RIVER

13 year old grade bay mare stands 15 hands, well built mare, easy going mare, walk out in pasture, catch her, ride bareback, or saddle up and go trail riding.

20 YEAR OLD MORGAN MARE

Not a mean bone in her body. Has never offered to buck, bolt, or rear, Kids have no interest in riding, so she is just burning hay at this point. She has been on the trail but primarily used in the arena. She did complete a refresher this spring and ridden by an 11-year-old beginner but would be best suited to a confident rider as she is quite forward- she has more go than whoa.
