1760 head of good quality cattle traded hands in Vermilion, today. The feeder cow market slipped back $5-8 with lots of feeder type cows trading from $230-240. The slaughter ready cows and bulls both respectively held steady to the levels they traded last week.

On the feeder cattle side of things, the demand for grass cattle continues to gain in strength - with classes of grass weight steers and heifers trading another $5 higher than last week. The heavier cattle also showed a little strength in spots, while some remained to hold steady.
