Today we had 2061 cattle go through the ring. The market was very strong again. The feeder cattle market has remained very steady, while the futures market seems to jump all over. All of the steers today sold steady to stronger. The feature was likely at 600-650lbs, they seem to sell for $3-5 higher. One of the standouts was a nice set of 666lb black simmX steers selling for $364.00/cwt.

The cows and bulls sold pretty steady. Good cows from $120-130, older ones were closer to $100. The heiferettes were under a little pressure as they get older, this is very seasonal.

Bulls sold from $150-168.
