Today in Vermilion; we sold 759hd. The feeder cattle sold extremely well as there remains a demand for grass cattle and a shorter supply.

The 500-600 weight steers sold from $400-$431/cwt, the 700-800lb steers sold from $360-$400/cwt, and the 800-900 weight steers traded from $305-$368/cwt.

The light grass heifers (500-700lbs) sold $5-10 higher when compared to last week, while the 800-900lb heifers sold fully steady to slightly stronger than last week.

The cow and bull market continues to be aggressive with cows trading $3-$5 stronger, and top meat bulls trading from $200-$218.
