There was a light run of yearlings in today’s sale. One group of 823lb heifers sold at $335/cwt, while a nice set of exotic heifers weighing 912lbs brought $324/cwt.
The slaughter bulls traded $5-$10 lower. Slaughter ready type cows sold $3-$4 lower this week while the utility/feeder cows continue to trade steady at competitive prices.
