Today we had a nice run of feeders. Mostly yearling heifers, but also some yearling steers, and calves are starting to show up. The yearling steers sold barely steady, some weight classes seen some pressure. Buyers have been a bit pickier in terms of quality. The yearling heifers sold fully steady with some number one 800lb and 900lb grass heifers selling at a premium.

The cows and bulls sold $4-6 lower today. This downward trend is likely to continue in the cull market as supply gets bigger going into fall.
