Comments
We had about 800 head of feeder cattle on offer today, and they sold extremely strong. Lots of 6-700lb heifers on offer today and they sold $10-$15/cwt stronger. One highlight was 80 heifers from one ranch weighing 614lbs sold for $5.36/lb. The steers on offer also sold $5-8/cwt stronger across the board.
Cows and bulls traded basically steady today. Good cows were from $225-235/cwt and bulls from $245-260/cwt with the high selling bull at $272/cwt.
