We had a very light test on the market today as cattle producers and buyers both await overhanging tariff threats from President Trump, today. The feeder cattle sold fully steady. Both feeder and slaughter cows fell $0.15 to $0.20/lb today while the slaughter bulls fell considerably.

Today's bred heifer and cow sale was very well attended and there were some top-quality bred females. The full sale results can be viewed by clicking the link, but the 1150-1300lb heifers brought $5000 - $5500 with sales up to $6000. The 1000-1150lb heifers traded mostly $4300 - $4900. The young cows traded from $4600 - $5000 with sales up to $5900. The more mature cows traded from $3200 - $4000.
