Today, with limited numbers on offer, the market was very strong. The feeder cattle sold fully steady with 600lb heifers trading $10/cwt higher. There is lots of interest on all classes of cattle.

The cows and bulls sold very strong with the news of no tariffs on beef - it appears to be full steam ahead for the cattle market!

Don't forget about our horse sale on April 24th! Sale begins with tack at 5pm, saddle horses to sell after tack, and loose horses will follow.

Our last bred sale of 2024 was well attended. The offering was mostly cows, with a few bred heifers. The top quality heifers weighing over 1100lb brought $4500-5000, the 1000-1100lb heifers sold mostly $4000-4500, and heifers under 1000lb sold $3300-3600.

The dispersal cows sold were very well received. Young to middle aged cows sold from $4500-5000. Aged cows were $3500-4000.

Producers are looking for good quality females that have productive years left and they are willing to pay good money when they find them. We have a bred sale in February 2025, watch the calendar for specific dates!
