We had a nice light sale today as everyone is finally full force getting feed put up. The feeder and slaughter cow trade was up compared to last week, with good feeding type cows trading $255-265/cwt. The bull trade remains untouched with the top bull bringing $315/cwt.

For the past two weeks the futures board has had its struggles between plants in the south closing and trade negotiations - eastern buyers remain optimistic.

Our first presort back will be September 9th.
