2549 head came through the ring today. The slaughter cows and slaughter type bulls sold fully steady. All classes of feeder cattle sold mainly steady to last week's pricings, except for the 550-650lb steers, which saw a $10 gain today in some spots.
Some pricings are included as follows:
22 tan strs @ 550lbs at $681.00/cwt
34 tan strs @ 606lbs at $618.50

325 bred cows and heifers traded in today's sale. Middle aged dispersal cows traded from $4500-$5200. Older cows in good shape traded from $4000-4600. Bad bags/feet/down hips sell for pound price. Heifers over 1100lb traded $5000-5500. Lighter, greener heifers under 1000lb trade from $4100-5000.
